Difference between SAFC and VAFC

Default Difference between SAFC and VAFC

Is the only difference the Vtec activation?

Can i use a VAFC to effectivly tune my non vtec a6?

vafc= vtec air fuel controller
safc= super air fuel controller.
if you have a non vtec engine, just get the safc.
the only difference if that the vafc has vtec options. poot.

yeah i kno the purpose of each but i currently have vafc on my vtec engine, and am looking to go non vtec. so can i carry on using my VAFC? or have to go and get an SAFC

I think you could do it, just set the VTEC engagement higher than the redline of your engine, then it wouldn't be an issue. Just so you know, I don't have a VAFC, so it's just an idea.
