Default E-brake light?

i have a problem with my e-brake light. Usually every mornin when i start my car getting ready to drive, i put down my e-brake but the light stays on, so i pull it up and down a couple of times but it does not go away.

So i go and try to drive, and it drives perfect, and after like 10 minutes or so the light goes away, but it comes back a few minutes later, it does that for like 30 min then is completely gone. my driveway is a pretty steep slant, does that have anything to do with it?

Can anyone help me and tell me what could be the problem, i checked all the fluids and they are fine, i even topped them all off but it still happens. Car runs fine wit brake down but i want to solve this, thanks

Mine does the same thing, nothing to worry about. I think I heard someone say something about the sensor or something like that. Don't stress it.

Check to see if the resevoir cap is alright, i think i remember reading in one of those links that the cap could be the culprit.

mine does the same thing. i remember reading at one point that one of the bolts for the ebrake cable frequently gets loose and can cause this. the bolt is under the center piece plastic. i'll try and look around for where i read this so i can give you a better description.

same thing here...you can do do the ghetto trick and put a small piece of electrical tape over the light on the cluster lens if it really bothers you....the light doesn't really bother me in the least tho

This was covered a few weeks ago. I think some1 said that all u need to do is open the brake reservior and close it and it will go away. It doesnt necessarily mean u have low break fluid tho.

from what i was told. this happens to alot of integras. they said it was the MC float and/or filter that was faulty. i took my cap and filter and cleaned it with brake cleaner. and it hasn't happened since
