Electrical question...
I have a Power Acoustik 2000 watt amp.. powering two 12" subs and the other day the subs just stopped hitting.. well i know the subs didnt blow.. because i switched them with my other known good subs and it still didnt hit... so i need to know the easiest way to check an AMP to see if its working or blown???
check for a light on the amp (i assume it has one) check your fuse under the hood ... check your ground wire connection ... check your RCA's .... check your lead wire ... could be a bunch of things, tell us what you've checked so far
the green light on the AMP is on and i know there is power going to it because when i take the power wire out and put it back in it sparks lol... checked all the fuses.. all fuses are good.. amp fuses are good...the RCA"s are good..
honestly, about 5 years ago i had the same thing happen ... all wires were fine, the amp was on, etc. the front fuse was fine as well, but i swapped it out as a last measure and it worked ... it'll only cost you $2 ... worth a shot
I chased my tail due to a blown fuse that looked good and it would reconnect when the engine warmed up and its items worked fine until the car got cold again. If you dont know which fuse to check then dont check for it, check for powers at the amp, you must have two power sources and the fuses on the amp should be hot, good enough, change the amp.
Do you have a remote or some sort of volume control on the amp.

i have an accord with two 12" subs and a power acoustik a3000db in the mail (2300W @ 1ohm)
but anyways.......
if the amp is powering up (green light on) then your fuses should be ok (especially the one up front).
when you say 'not hitting' does that mean no sound at all or just not hitting hard?
do you have a DMM? if so, the first thing i'd do is check the voltage on the output of the amp.
if you don't have a DMM i'd buy one. it's gonna make your life a lot easier now and in the future.

i have a DMM.. the green light comes on fine... and i mean the subs do not hit at ALL... and theres blue lights too on the other side of the AMP near the power and groound leads.. which are both good...

it isn't any of the fuses.......... you said that you have checked EVERYTHING than that means the amp or both sets of subs are bad.................
