So I'm going 50mph and the intersection with the red light camera turns yellow. I don't chance it and come to a fast stop. My brakes feel like it's pumping or slightly pushing back at me. What symptoms are this? Thanks

 

congrats you have just experienced the effects of abs

anit-lock brakes.......keeps you from locking up the wheels and going into a skid

this is not a problem....it's actually a solution that has been implemented into many cars for some time now

 

hmmm. Thanks for the info. However I've had this car for sometime and have come to much faster stops without experiencing this. Regardless it's good to hear it not something mechanically wrong

 

Feels like a jackhammer on the brake pedal? That's what mine felt like the one time if went off...

yep, say hello to your abs. Ive noticed that mine pumps like that sometimes at emergency stops and sometimes it doesnt and just skids a lil
