no. but you can get a regular f4 for about the same as the new 1080. Plus I'm just talking about styling...

Styling? Who cares about that, when you can get two big girls in your backseat with a superhawk??

Eh, color me not impressed. MV has been milking the F4 for years with the special edition, extra special edition, super extra special edition, and now this supra extra special special edition. I mean damn, the Desmosedici is only $60k.

I kinda have to agree with this. I love the way the bikes look, and they are undeniably great performers.
However...all the special editions lessen the effect after a while. Especially for a bike (and company in general) that has no competition heritage.
I'd certainly choose the Desmo RR over this thing, even though it does look better.

I was under the impression that MV had a LOT of competition heritage in the GP world. Am I mistaken?
I have never been a fan of the MV F4, and still remain not one.

Yeah they have a rich GP racing pedigree from back in the day but haven't been majorly involved in racing for at least the last 20 years. There are some odd F4's in superstock racing in Europe I believe.
Next year there'll be 2 factory F4's in AMA SBK though

This model was released to commemorate the release of their last special edition.

Yep. Just recently, they were testing at JenningsGp in N. Florida and both riders broke the old track record, which was held by Pascal Picotte and his RC51. AMA SBK should be a little more interesting with Yamaha and MV stepping into the picture

I think the MV's will probably finish between 8th and 15th for the season. They might be able to sneak a few top fives in there but I doubt they'll get a podium this year now that we have 9 factory bikes from the big 4 as well as an additional 2 or 3 factory supported satellitte bikes. Still, it'll be nice to see them mixing it up in there.

I dunno why either. That scheme is just ok. The Tamburini red/black is nicer, and this new CC's rRaven rip-off is nicer still.

I would hate to eat my words but... MV's are nice bikes and all, but like ducati's... way overpriced bikes. I don't see them stepping up to where the other factory teams will be next year. I would expect yamaha to make a pretty good impact though.
Suzuki will dominate once again baby!!!

what's up with it? what so having 4 is wrong just because traditionally bikes have 1 or sometimes 2. but 4 is absurd even when they've been tuned for that bike and make great power. I typically hate to do this but you're an idiot
