Can you tune cam gears with a vafc2 or does that even matter.

 

um a cam gear is not a mod......it is a tuning tool in itself.....you don't tune them....you use them to tune and adjust timing

vafc....vtec/air/fuel controller

 

Is VAFC enough for what?
What modifications do you have that require you to adjust the timing?

Do some research on what the VAFC is capable of, and what it is not.

It is NOT capable of tuning cam gears.

 

To "tune'' adjustable cam gears you only need to have your car on the dyno and try advancing or retarding one cam 1or 2 degrees at a time. And see if your power/ torque are improving. Basically if you skimm your head you should start with advancing.

 

Unless its a Swiss-army-Vafc2 w/ allen wrenches or hex tools then your **** up creek... If your asking if the Vafc2 can control timing, I dont think so V=Vtec A=Air F=Fuel C=Controler.
