I have an 87 Prelude Si and I have done Air Intake, Cold Start Valve mod, custom exhaust, Iridium spark plugs and new wires, new distributor cap and rotor.

So whats the next bolt-on mod I should do to my car to improve performance...

Or should I invest in a new engine for my car...but I need to know what engine fits in my engine bay, like a J-Spec motor, if anyone knows what motor you can swap into the 87 Prelude Si engine bay please let me know. thx.

 

I would call Hasport or Place Racing and see if they have any motor mount kits for that car. I don't have the number, but you might try doing a search in the hybrid forum.

Other than that, if nothing fits, try finding a header.

 

you could also upgrade some fuel things, purchase a s-afc, and spend a little while on the dyno tweaking out your settings to produce a little more hp.

 

I know that with the 3gen Prelude you can stuff anything from a F22A to H23 with the help of a kit. The places to call are HASport, Place Racing, of HCP.
