motor swap question?
I know it sounds really sad but i indeed totalled my 2000 civic Si and everthing is intact just alot of body damage. But im am in the process of buying a 98 ek hatch and i want to know if there is anything i would need for the swap or will all my Si parts fit right in and i wont have to buy anything. cuz i got the entire front end intact and shift linkage radiator and ect.. What do I need to know and need for the swap?
well i already had hondata done to my Si so i got the ecu under control. for the mounts do i have to cut off the old ones and weld new ones in place? Im not all that familiar with motor mounts.
I'm pretty sure you have everything you need.
If i'm not mistaken you can just swap out the D-series mounts with the B16 mounts just by bolting and unbolting them and swapping them.
You have the harness and ecu from the Si too... so you're all set bud. Good luck on the build
