MP3 on factory head unit

MP3 player on factory head unit

I heard it might be possible to use an mp3 player by connecting to the aux cables at the back. This true?

My friend who's the road shop manager at circuit city said that they sell a kit that you plug into the back of your stock deck that will allow you to hook up your ipod. I forgot how much he said it was..... i'll ask him if I see him this evening

The stock deck has the port for the cd changer which I believe you can make an adaptor fit into. However when you say MP3 thats very vague....i mean, theres MP3 headunits that will play MP3s directly off a burnt CD, MP3s on a music keg and MP3s on your Ipod. So it all depends on what you mean.
