Default FUSE KEEPS BLOWING

Hi after installing a stereo into my car, my instrument panel lights no longer go on

the fuse to my instrument panel lighting was blown, now i replaced it and when i turned on my headlights.. it lights up for a moment and immediately goes out and the fuse is blown again

does anyone know what i did to cause this? its not the big of a deal except i cant see how fast i am going at night now

well if it just happened after the radio install then it has to do something with that. take out the stereo harness and double check the wires are in the correct order and that there are no broken wires or shorts. should be very easy to find.

yea same thing happened to me after my radio install. the pink/orange wire for illumination of the stock radio would ground, just tape it and you should be good.
