Default 205's on a 14" steelie?

I have a couple of 14" steelies off of a DA teg that are just laying around. I was thinking about getting some 14" BFG Drag radials to slap on them so I can use them when I drive to the track.
The smallest size they have is: 205/50R14.

Will these fit?

Thanx,
Tippyman.

I used HX rims on the same tires with no problems. The HX's are 5.5" wide, so as long as the steelie is as wide as that, there shouldn't be a problem.

I only used them on the strip usually somewhere between 12~14psi. Kinda wished I tried lower pressures, but I moved on to slicks so I never got a chance.

Arent 14's kinda small ? Does that cut down on your mph and 60' ? Just a question.

Rim size doesn't mean a damn thing. it's the overall size of the tire and rim combined.

Haven't used it yet. Haven't ordered the tires yet, lol.

I'm hoping to break into the 1's.

205-50-14 on will be fine on your steelies. they have an over all diameter of 22" slicks. should be just fine(just not as wide as real drag slicks).

i've even stuffed the 215-60-14 on the 14"x5" steelies, and they were just fine. have fun using them slicks.
