can i leave this hole open on the tranny after hooking up the hydro to cable conversion or do i need to some how cover it back up? if so any suggestions?

 

i would cover it man that looks like its not complete and your going to get rocks and road dirt in your clutch. That could cause slippage and damage to your main bearing. Also your throw out bearing needs a clean shaft or you can kiss your whole tranny case goodbye!

 

does it need to be air tight or just enclosed enough where no debris can get in it?
