Warranty Question
wow this has never been covered. but fyi it will void the warranty if the failed part is inconjunction with the modification. i.e. your balljoints go out still covered, your motor blows due to hydrolock not covered.
There was some law or lawsuit or something or other that says adding any aftermarket part to you car cannot void any warranty unless Honda can prove that part or improper installation caused the problem. And even if they can prove it, it only can void the warranty for that particular part of the car.
However...
There is (sadly) no law that says your dealership can't be total ******** and drag their feet about repairs when aftermarket is involved.

tell him that the sri looks better than stock intake IMO and will not void the warranty

Yes there is
Moss Magnusson Act... it answers BOTH of your assumptions.
