kinda makes you wonder how safe the occupants of the CRV are if it rolls over. If it deforms enough to save this girl from the 14th story then how much does it deform and crush occupants if the vehicle rolls over?
How heavy was this flying beyoch? She could have been a 300lb Beached Whale, then again, 14 stories is ~140 feet. Depending on her weight, she could have been just apexing her velocity upon impact with the CRV

150 feet X 125lbs is about 75mph if she didnt nose-dive, which she didnt.
how do we know she was only 125? Im guessing she was around 2 bills
Dave pointed this out to me, and he's right to an extent. Her weight doesnt really matter. All object accelarate due to gravity at 9.8 meters/sec. But it is about 75mph I think.
Plus, the picture of her on the right, she looks about 100-125lbs.

Dont prove me wrong ever again.
150 is 45.72 meters. She accelerated at 9.8 meters/second. That means it took her 4.66 seconds to hit the CRV. 9.8 m/s is 22mph. 22 x 4.66 is 102.52mph. Am I right?

This is what I'm getting:
V^2 = Vo^2 + 2as (nothing to do with weight)
V=final velocity
Vo=initial velocity
a=acceleration=gravity=9.81m/s^2
s=distance=150 ft = 45.72 m
so...
V^2=0^2 + 2 * 9.81 * 45.72
V^2=897.0264
V=29.95 m/s = 66.99 mph

9.8m/s*2 is the rate of acceleration, not the speed, initially its 9.8m/s*2 but every second it increases obviously. Im not a physics freak, but i remember that much from high school. Too bad neither of my roomates are around, both are engineers and live and breath this stuff. If you threw a banana and a gorilla out the window at the same time they would hit the ground at the same time. Aerodynamics come into play for example if you threw a banana and a feather out the window. The only thing her weight impacts is her momentum or force when she hits the CRV. Thats a wild story though.
Oh, of course her weight is a factor when calculating the force her carcass exerted on the poor CRV's roof.
So, if we calculate the kinetic energy at impact, KE=1/(2mv^2)=26656Nm.
Now, suppose the roof of the CRV collapses .25m, then the average force of impact will be 126624Nm.
Squish!
