Default h22a1 vs h22a4

Whats the difference between an h22a1 and h22a4? I'm looking for forged pistons for my 00 type sh (h22a4 that will be sleeved) and all I can find are a1 pistons. Is there any difference? I'm also shopping for rods and come up with two different journal diameters. Any info would be a big help.

The main difference is the closed deck to open deck design and the main journal sizes, unless you have a 97 H22A4 which has the same size journals as the H22A1.

92-95 A1 = 50mm mains and a closed deck
97 A4 = 50mm mains and open deck
98-01 A4 = 55mm mains and open deck

other than that, they are the exact same.
