Default Baking Your Headlights?

Im just wondering if there was anyone that can give me some information on baking your headlights. Is it safe? Is it risky? Step by step instructions. I drive an 02 honda accord coupe V6 and there is a very small thin line of orange that i want to get rid of. Thanks!

I did this on my prelude. Samething, I was trying to get rid of an amber piece on the taillight. I baked them for about 10 minutes and then used a flat head to split both pieces.
