how to remove sideskirt from the 5gen

how i want to know how can i remove the sideskirts? i need to paint them. please....i spent 2 hrs....still can't take it out.

They have a few screws than hold them in place, after you remove those they slide either backwards or forwards, i cant remmember which way.
