why would you want to?

i don't know if there's any donor 4x114 suspensions that you could use the parts from. early JDM itr, perhaps...

not very useful, but it can be done. my friend is interested in doing the same suspension on his da. all i can remember is that you have to use different parts, so its not a bolt-up affair.

rear trailing arms bolt up

for the fronts you need new DA bearings and only the 4 x 114 hubs (with the inner race still stuck on it).
Also remove the inner race from the 4 x 114 bearings ( so you should have a total of 4 bearing races 2 in your hand 2 on the hubs).

Press out old bearings from DA knuckles and replace with new bearings (remove all 4 inner races from new bearings)

Now pop in the old races from the 4 x 114 knuckle and press everything together and your done. Worked on 90 civic si w/ DA knuckles.

wait.. so you didn't have to bore out the front hubs at all? just switch a couple of bearings?

i beleive it is the same as doing the 5-lug swap on a DA

read this, it is very informative and tells you exactly how to do it with the 5-lug:

http://www.technet.ff-squad.com/how-to/5lug.ef-da/

you have to shave the hubs for the 5-lug, so i would think you have to do the same for the 96 ITR.

i just got 4x114.3 suspension for my DA, after talking to some people i'm going to try using the type r front knuckle (even though it says not to). the vertices seem to be the same and it will just throw off the caster and camber. the camber should actualy be better if your car is lowered, it won't be as negative (like having a camber kit). also i can adjust the caster, so i should be able to tune out any caster problems. i am going to see how it works. hopefully it will work and any suspension problems will be able to be tuned out, if not i will just do it how the write up says and use the DA knuckles. i will probably do it on sunday.

I am in sacramento as well, so if you need anything let me know.

Why not just get a different set of wheels? Sounds like a ridiculous amount of trouble for such a petty thing.

Well, depends what you're doing with the car. A track car will definitely benefit from a bigger heat source, and will have less brake fade potentially. A street car, yeah, not necessary.
