Well, I have the same problem. I recently took them to a shop to have my front headlights re-wired.

I was told my sidemarkers were not even wired up at all, they were just sitting there, and that in order to wire them they'd have to be wired into the headlights. There is a problem with this though because, if it is not done correctly, it will cause hyperblink on your turn signals.

I'm not really sure how to avoid this but I'm having them do the sidemarks as well.

Can't you just wire it up to the bumper lenses like you would do for city lights?

Yeah thats what I was saying in my post. If it is spliced into the headlight incorrectly, I was told it would give you that hyperblink in your turn signals.

Look how they do it there, it would be pretty much the same idea. You don't wire it to the blinkers but the parking lights or whatever they are called.

I have installed quite a few sidemarkers in my day and i hope my explanation can help

there is a 3-wire buld in your corner lense, you need to take it out, unplug the 3-wire bulb socket and run the wires from the sidemarker all the way to it

then there are 2 ways you can wire it, the OEM way (only turns on when you use the blinker) or the other way (turns on when you turn on your parking lights and blinks when you use the blinkers)

the best way to play around and see which one you like is to cut some of the cover off of each of the wires and attach the wires from the sidemarkers in different combonations to get your desired effect
