What's up everybody. I might be picking up a 2003 Black/black S2000. The car has 51xxx and its CLEAN!!! The deal I'm working out is going to be really good but before I buy it I wanted to know from current drivers the pros and cons of the vehicle. I drove it for the first time yesterday and drove it again today. It's everything that I thought it would be and then some. I'm just thinking that since I'm so tall will it be comfortable for a daily and for weekend road trips. It has no aftermarket work done to it at all besides a set of eibach lowering springs. I don't plan on modding it at all but of course I am a honda guy. Let me know your personal opinions of the car. Thanks HT.
im wondering what this guy is also cause i might be getting one after winter any particular year that woud be better to get and what kind of headers do they make for this car considering the engine is placed different then other k series, also i heard they make hard tops if so what do they usually run for. oh yeah whats the insurance usually run for these with younger people a year
anyway didnt meen to jack free bump

Hell yeah some responses. I definately think I'm going to get it cause I also got my hatch just in case. I also got a good lead on a CLEAN itr but I don't think I want the attention. How much are you guys paying for insurance? That's really my main concern cause that will tell me if I could afford it or not. Thanks again everybody.
Only thing i dis like is the space.. which is slime to none.. especially with subs in the truck... other then that.. i love the car
Well wish the aftermarket parts werent so dam expensive.. but i will live.. hahaha

How the hell did you do that? Just hard driving?

I have a '00 S2000.
Pros:
Very fun to drive, especially around fast corners
You don't see a lot on the street
Cheap sports car
Chicks dig it
Cons:
Trunk/Storage space a bit small
My friends who are over 6'2" tall complain about lack of legroom in the passenger seat
Bad blind spot with top up (solved with oem Euro/JDM convex driverside mirrors)
Shitty sound system for $34k car (i think the newer S2Ks have better speakers and decks)
Not a lot of luxurious creature comforts for $34k car
Overall, I am happy that I bought my car
. Just my 2 cents.

ok, im about to play devils advocate. im 6,2 and i fit comfortably in the drivers side. teh passenger seat sucks for anyone over 6 feet tall due to the transmission hump. before getting this car reember that its basically immovable in any snow. it also has a tendancy to slide sometimes in rather sticky situations. insurance for me is about 2400 a year and im a 19 year old college student so its really not that bad if you have a good driving record. it really does have a lack of torque. my buddie has a crv-si frankenstein motor that pulls harder then my s with intake/ injectors/exhaust. But then agian the s is more reliable. just remember you are buying the hondas corvette and it come equipped with "***** magnet" but in all seriousness its a great car taht can just get on your nerves if you experince some inclimate weather
