Man I dunno what happen to my factory cd player but it kept on skipping everytime I accelerate and when I let go of the gas and it get so damn annoying....Any one know what might be the problem...I'm planning to put a aftermarket Cd player by Thanksgiving time is that going to help by any chance. clean the lens?

 

possibly vibration if the deck isnt secured properly. if you're going to be putting in an aftermarket deck next week then it doesn't really matter what's wrong with the stock deck.....all you need to install the aftermarket one is the harness adapter to plug into the in-car harness, but if vibration is an issue then you might have the same problems with the aftermarket deck as well.

 

You probably just need to clean the lens. But if i were you i woulndt worry about it and just wait for the new one.

 

how do you clean the lens?

 

Goto Fry's or a Car Audio place, it looks just like a cd, you just put it in the cd player and play and it cleans it.
