Default JDM P72 ECU speed governor

I have a JDM B18C with a JDM P72 ECU. My car tops out at 120 or about 6K in 5th gear. It makes a strange noise then stops accelerating. Is this the governor? I was under the impression JDM ECUs don't have them. If this is so, what is the simplest way to get rid of it? I'm going to get beat by stock EXs who can easily go 125+ hahaha. Thanks.

Ok, what if I was to pick up a usdm P72? Since the JDM engine doesn't have the evap sensors and what not, am I going to get a check engine light if I hook that up? What are the other differences between JDM and USDM ECUs? Thanks.

Ok, so since the JDM engines don't have evap sensors, if I get a USDM ECU, I'm going to get these codes (90 or 92) when I plug it in right? What can I do to trick the ECU into thinking everything is ok with the evap sensors?

All the chips I see are for 9K redlines and different VTEC points, which I don't need on a basically stock engine

Fields SFC-VTEC controller is supposed to be able to remove the speed limit on JDM ECUs

that is a disadvantage. But someone with a hondata or similar setup could burn you one with a mildly upgraded fuel/timing maps and remove the governor without raising the redline sky high or moving the vtec.
