jdm b18b using usdm wiring harness
i just got a jdm b18b, and i noticed a few differences. the new motor does not have a crank angle sensor. making the lower timing belt cover a little different.
and also it looks like they put the ecu plugs in different spots rather than on the strut towers. im assuming because it was originally in a rhd car.
what i did so far was take my old crank angle sensor off and put this on the new motor.
now if i use the entire wiring harness from my usdm obd2 b18b is it gonna affect any engine performance? also why would the jdm b18b not have a crank angle sensor?
is everything on my motor interchangable? such as distributor
TIA
