Default New key + key entry?

Does anyone know if its legal to change your key lock door and keys? If so, where can I can a new key entry installed for a CD7 Accord? I'm doing this because I'm buying a used car next week and I'm paranoid about the owner that MAY have a spare key in their hand (the car does have a newly h22a engine installed recently). I could go for a keyless entry, but I'll hold that option if this one doesnt work out.

Sure, there is no law against doing that.
You'll need to remove the door lock tumbler and take it to a locksmith.
I tried looking in the Honda parts catalog but nothing is listed by CD B.S.

Ya, theres a locksmith near my house (well, ACE hardware actually where they make duplicate keys as well). So I just take the two door handles on both the driver and passenger and have the locksmith "edit" the key shapes?
