Default Ground Control

are ground control coilovers for a 92 hatch with stock shocks good? Smooth?

"Good"...no. Smooth...that's dependent of opinion and the shocks you use. Using the stock shocks will give you a shitty ride and you wont be able to lower the car the way it's supposed to be. Even if you order the off the shelf Ground Control spring rates those shocks are going to be working hard to try to control the springs = a bad ride and even worse performance.

why do you need adjustable springs?

tokico illuminas and a good set of drop springs like eibach pro kits will cost about $500 and ride excellent. "nice and smooth"

wouldn't recommend on stock shocks, especially if your in a "slammin'" frame of mind
