Agreed. I have the 6000K, however i wouldnt go above 6000K. I have those and the white with blue tint is cool and still better than stock but i want something like 5000K.

Yeah they look cool because of the color, but the higher the number the less the light output.

thanx a lot guys, i decided the XD is the best choice cuz they have been in service for six years, which means they are a very reputable company. plus i saw the pics and i must say i was satisfied with wut i saw. but my only gripe is that i can only afford the Xtreme series of hid, so i hope they are good, if they are, let me know, but anyhow i all ready ordered them, in the 6500K temp. i wanted that more purple look. thanks a lot everybody,

my friend just got the mcCulloch kit and their really nice. easy install too, came with all the hardware. 300 shipped from their site.
don't really know if that's McCulloch's real site, but that's the only place i've been able to find them. and yes, built in ignitor is a more precautious measure because it's not exposed to the weather, such as rain, etc.
Out of every brand that was mentionned in this thread, Philips is by far the best.
McCulloch is ok I guess, I've had it for a while now, 8000k, but you can't run your DRL (Daytime Running Lights) with it.
Other than that, I don't see a problem with it. And my friend has had Philips 6000K on his Type S for 5 years now, no problems what so ever, amazing kit. Mind you he paid double what I did for my McCulloch Kit.

I have used these on two of my cars and I have had ZERO problems. The install is simple and fast. Depending on whether you have to drill and/or remove your bumper or headlights to mount the ballast, you can have HID in 10 minutes.
Get the 4300-5000K to get the brightest output and true white light with a slight tint of yellow. Unless you have yellow fogs, the yellow tint in the light makes it easier to see in the rain compared to higher color temps that are bluer.

Does everyone here have these hid kits on there stock headlights or do you have aftermarket projectors. Ive heard if you dont have projectors you end up blinding everyone driving at you
