Do I need to replace oil pump for NA build?
I've got a 1993 H22 JDM Lude with 60k miles on the clock, and am getting it built NA soon with cams, pistons, P&P, Hondata etc, etc. I'll be replacing the water pump when the work's carried out, but do I also need to replace the oil pump? If so, should I just use an OEM pump?

I'm still not convinced about the Prodrive oil pump gears either. </TD></TR></TABLE>
its a complete waste of money man, when i took my last pump out, and measured it for clearances, they lobes on the gear itself had too much clearance, and even sizes around the whole gear.

so youre saying that the prodrive gear wears out more than the stock one? or just that its no better?

quality is not worth the money, and they're customer service sucks, i had one of there gears go out on me, and they were jus giving me the runaround. screw them.
your best bet would be just to get a new oem one
