can't decide which boots to get...
was wondering if anyone tried these boots before or have them. If anyone has either/or...is it comfortable, too stiff, too thick to not feel the shifter, too heavy/light, and what do you guys think about the protection the boots provide? TIA. By the way, these are going to be for street riding in the summer.

I had the motorheads. Very big, very heavy, no shifter feel, but they saved my feet in my crash and thats all that matters to me.
I bought soem Sidi B2's after the accident

yeah, protection is a big factor to me, but also shifter feel...I don't want to concentrate on finding the shifter when I should be concentrating what's ahead of me. Anyone with more input, please don't hesitate to post. And yeah, I'll also look into the sidi...by the way, why you changed to sidi?

Then get some race boots and be done with it.

just get some Sidi B-2s, or some other tall race boot. What's the difference? it's not like the two boots you listed are normal looking either. At least when i'm wearing my Sidis and someone asks what they are it's easy to explain they're for a motorcycle. If i was wearing motorheads and someone asked if i was wearing special orthopedic shoes, i'd just simply explain to them that "no, i have a job with a construction company....from the future"
Theres a GB on bayarearidersforum.com for Sidi Veritgo (and Corsas). I got a price of $325 for some Corsas. I just need to get my *** to a dealer to try some on before I order them

a brand that emphasizes fashion > protection. I'd reccomend the A* if you want a decent boot and on somewhat of a budget or Sidi Vertigo's if you want the best. Besides they remind me of some busted *** LA Gears.

Dom, those might look cool and be comfy for walking, but if something happened and you binned it, those would provide you with very little protection for your ankles. Those might as well just be a pair of hikers youre wearing.
For the best protection ya gotta have something that goes up and above the ankle and those dont cut it.

You'll be alright with those, that is, unless you are riding through wet. We rode through a blizzard in Tahoe on Memorial weekend and I was wearing something less protective than those. But that could just be me. I don't get cold in my feet or legs just hands and upper torso. :shrugs:

well, these are mostly what I was looking at since I'm going to be a beginner...and I want to spend more money on a good quality helmet since I'm just starting.

Vap, I would just go with the regular corsa's. The regular ones arent that bad in the hot weather. It will also provide some coverage/warmth in the winter and if you ever get caught in the rain
