NEED HELP ASAP

im putting on my struts/shocks and springs as im typing this and i just took off the stock springs and there is a big yellow rubber piece on the stock strut. do i take it off and put it on my new strut?

you trim it and put it back on, it's call a bumpstop.

without it the damper will last exactly 56 hours before blewing every seals off

Yeah, Just cut it in half and put in on your new struts.. keeps them from bottoming out all the way.
