EF8 Inboard joint same as something else?

EF8 Inboard joint same as something else?
Having a little difficulty replacing my inboard joint and setup (it is stuffed )
off my EF8 (b16a1)
Anyone know if it can be interchanged with another models?
I think maybe the ED crx one can go on (ed is a d16a1 crx here in australia).. but the rollers dont have the vtec style flat edge to them.. and i dont know for sure if they will work
