quick transmission question

quick transmission question
My sisters Automatic transmission went out right after my dad and i did a swap in it. i have a 95 auto tranny, can a 92-95 tranny work in it no problems? it is a d-series and the linkage looks the same? thanks

i know automatic transmissions are the spawn of satan but someone probably knows this answer? will obd1 auto tranny work in obd0 car??? tahnks
