98 civic HX auto to 5 speed conversion
Okay I have all the parts for the conversion. Looks pretty simple to me.
Only thing i'm worried about is wiring the car to start.
So pretty much saying, how to make the car think its in park so it turns on. Also I need to know how to make the reverse lights turn on. Car belongs to my girl freind. So you know I cant ****** rig ****. Bitch is gona complain about reverse lights not turning on..
yes I searched and searched. I only got eg auto to 5 speed.
Couldnt find any info on how to rewire an ek.
If anyone knows a link please let me know.

What does this mean?
You should get a Helms though. It shows how the reverse lights are wired (there's a switch located on the 5-spd housing). The auto selector, when in park or neutral, electrically connected the Blk/Wht wire with the Blk/Red wire to allow voltage to get through to the starter solenoid - again, shown in the Helms.
