Auto-x suspension and tires
Im going to race a 91 CRX Si in the SCCA STS2 class next year and was wondering what people think are some great Spring/Shock combos and good stabilizer bars to use. Also, what size wheel/tire combo works best? Thinkin 15 in. with either 195/50/15 or 205/50/15 tires? The wheels can be any diameter and offset up to 7.5 inches wide with tires that are NOT R-compound. I liked Wedssport TC005 or Enkei RPF1 wheels and Hankook Ventus R-S2 Z212 tires. Any input is greatly appreciated
There is some good info here for the 88-91 Civic's in STS:

Not all of the Civic stuff applies to the CRX though. Mainly spring rates, sway bars and alignment settings. No one has found "the" set-up yet for the STS CRX's. Which is why they are still slower than the STS Civic's. Some people are going down as much as 100-200 for rear spring rates. Some are running no sway bars at all. Some are changing rear camber/toe to get the handling they want. Even though the cars are very different, a lot of things are different on the set-up.
Some things have changed since that write up as well. Mainly the choice for wheels and tires. First off, for the smaller diamter ST? classes, the Falken RT-215 in a 205/50-15 is still the tire to have. Falken does not make them, but you may come across an FS thread once in a while with people selling their old ones.
Since the RT-215 was "retired", the RT-615 has become the STS and STS2 tire of choice. However, since the RT-615 has a slightly softer sidewall, most ST driver have opted for the 205/40-16 size mounted on a 16x7.5 wheel. The shorter sidewall makes the softer sidewall design of the RT-615 less of an issue. They are also slightly shorter than a 205/50-15, improving the gearing ever so slightly. They are slightly narrower though. Plus, lightweight 16x7.5's are a lot harder to find than 15x7.5's.
The Hankook RS-2 is another choice for tire. Their sidewall is even softer than the RT-615 and if you want to be quick, you need to have the tires shaved. My full-depth RS-2's felt like crap until they got down to under 4/32's of tread left.
Read that Redshift right-up and you will figure out what you need the most.

Race-valved Koni's are nice, but off the shelf is fine -- especially if you aren't trying to win a national championship.
Spring rates depend on preference. Most people seem to run between 400 and 500 on the front and between 400 and 600 on the rear. I ran 450/400.
Rear sway bar. Adjustable is nice. A lot of people seem to run the ST piece. A lot of people like the front bar from an HF model. I never tried it.
Tires. I ran 205/50/15's RT615's on 15x7 Falken Hanabi wheels. I would have bought the RPF1's, but I was on a budget. Plenty of fast people run 7's. I definitely prefer the Falkens to the Hankooks. The 16's are worth considering. The 205/40/16 is a little narrow compared to the 15's, so a 16x7 is probably fine.
