Default Rear spoiler.....stolen

A couple of weeks ago I walked out to the parking lot in the morning and the wing on my 98 itr was missing. It was literally ripped of the back and the only thing left was the 2 "stumps" on each side and bits of fiberglass blowing in the wind. I can't decide if it was just vandalism or if someone thought they could actually put it on their car. Nothing else (like the red Acura emblems) were missing... Has this happened to anyone else?

I kinda doubt it.

yes it has happened to others. If the theif is lucky they can pull the bolts right out and reuse the undamaged spoiler. to honda for not makeing it harder to rip the spoiler out.

A friend of mine bought a wing out of the classifieds and it had obviously been stolen off the back of a car. The area where the bolts that hold the wing to the trunk lid had been completely ripped apart. The guy that sold the wing to him has suddenly dissappeared. So apparently this is common.
