It is hard to describe.. It faces up, just like a front upper strut bar, but it mounts under the motor and closer to the firewall. That's gonna be my next mod.

So I guess they bolt right up with no mods whatsoever for any integras?

The Strong Bar goes in the spare tire well.

I just did a quick search and found this

Looks bad ***. Wonder if it does anything.

Summary from tornactive.com
Drag race inspired, the Benen Industries Strong Bar was created for Honda Civic hatchbacks. Once your bumper support is removed, to reduce your cars weight by 30 pounds adding the strong bar is all the support you need. This component was CNC machined to exact vehicle specs to maintain stiffness.

NOTE: Available in Road Series (black anodized), polished, and brushed finishes.

Underneath the bumper cover. Sit on your bumper, its whats holding it up pretty much.

I believe the benen bar that goes in the front above the sub frame (not under it like the previous front lower tie bar) is the cross member bar. Two bolts I believe and you've got it installed.

Strong bar is in the rear trunk area, to bolt that down you have to take 2 of the bolts that are holding the rear support.

so if we do have the trunk support, the strong bar would not help?

i bought the benen strong bar thinking it was the front strut bar, from what people have told me, the strong bar goes exactly where that picture shows it to be.

I can't keep the dust off my dash. How is that hatch so clean? I wonder if the owner waxes it.

So basically it is useless on street driven cars since we all maintain the bumper support. It is more of a drag race only type support that would do practically nothing for our cars, especially if we have a rear upper strut bar. True?

i dont know why you would need that type of support for drag race....it seems more of a type of support for circut racing.

Yeah, it looks so clean you can see the front seats are red in the paint's reflection. ..Unless that's just spray paint.

since the bumper support is so heavy, you can use this strong bar in place of it to reduce weight i think. heh

This is my personal opinion. But their website sucks. It needs explanations to go with the pictures. I did a search on google to find what the strong bar is for.
