Prokit + Koni Yellows and want more Ground Clearance
Hi guys-
Right now my 01 base is dropped 1.25-1.5" on koni yellows with prokit springs. I like the ride quality but hate scraping and not being able to get around in the winter. Right now I'm thinking of either replacing the prokit back with the stock springs (keeping koni shocks) or putting the suspension totally back to stock.
Also would it be possible to machine a 1" spacer with the ID matching the OD of my konis to place on the clip (perch) and raise it up to stock height while still having a stiffer spring?
I think a lot of you will say to go buy some GC coilovers but I don't have $300 to waste right now. Thanks for the help

I've got a WS2 exhaust that still scrape even with a mild drop. I can understand your situation. Keep the Koni's and reuse the OEM springs, if you still have them. Use the lower perches for a mild drop.

Bought the konis new, prokit springs used. The shocks don't hold up the weight of car they dampen the oscillation hence the term dampers.
Can I raise the car with the perch settings on the Konis, I don't remember if it has a height increase adjustment or only the option to drop it.

No off roading, the car is just low. I have to pull into wendy's at a 45 degree angle at 1 MPH it sucks.

The fronts have two perch settings, the default is the upper one I believe. The rear has three perch settings, with the middle one being the default setting. I think you can raise the rear, but not the front.
You should just jack the car up a bit and take a look.
