wipers on a SFWD car?
Does tech check for windshield wipers on the cars competing in SFWD? Just wondering because the shell sitting in my garage has no wiper motor, arms, or anything. I was planning on buying a new car to put my motor into because the current car needs so much stuff but then again, it's just sitting here because the guy who wanted it backed out and it's free. I just need to know if I have to source out a wiper motor and assembly for it.

If your running nhra you better have the motor in there to it has to be working. NHRA checks.. not not a saftey rule its a class rule..

If I've removed the stock harness, can I just put some toggle switches in the dash for the wipers and the horn? Do the brakelights have to work via the brake pedal or do you just need rear driving lights to pass? What other things does NHRA tech look for in a SFWD car?
i completely rewired my car from taillight to headlight. you need it to work via stock or in a stock form but the wipers can be switched on from a toggle if you like
