Adjustable Dampers
Ok, I tried searching but all I got was FS: threads. And while some of them had pretty good descriptions, they're all biased in some way.
What I'm looking for is some feedback on adjustable damper suspension setups. I'm currently running Omni Power full Sport coilovers which are great for my track and auto cross use. But they're rattling my teeth out and my car apart.
If I move to an adjustable suspension setup, what is a good one to go with? Can they adjust to about the same stiffness as these Omni's? If so how soft can they get compared to stock?
Thanks for lookin

i don't know if this answers your question or not, but my buddy club racing spec dampers are 15 way adjustable and say that full hard is like adding 4k to the springrate, and full soft is like losing 4k in the springrate
so my fronts are 12k, if on full hard they act like 16k, and on full soft they act like 8k
and you can have all the adjustment in between too, i'll post a full review when I put them on this week
also check the suspension forum

I have GC's/Koni's... and they're freaking AWESOME...
I never expected them to be as adjustable or as well rounded as they are...
Konis can go from BONE JARRING stiff to nice and soft... and the stock spring rates seem to fit my car VERY well... they could be a little stiffer but then I think you lose some of the comfort when the kon's are adjusted soft.

I don't really care for my Teins very much. My car is very low, but I still bottom out every once in a while. I have had them for about 2 years now, and have learned to drive with them accordingly as well. And they are set pretty much to stock. I seldomly have them set less than stiff, and it is ok, but they still don't seem to be able to handle the roads like I thought they would.
The wierd thing is, the driver's side is quite worse than the passenger side, which I know that 220 lbs will make a difference, but I would think that for spending as much as I did, that the company would think about this.
BTW, I have Tein coilovers with EDFC.
