Default for the crx si b16 aebs intake manifold

i heard that You will have to get a b18b or equivalent throttle body IF you want to use the FITV. do i need the FITV? or can i just bypass it some how ?

(im talkin about the part thats under the throttle body on a b16 manifold . .the aebs manifold doesnt have it)

that little cylinder thing that some coolant lines hook up 2? when i put my aebs on my b16, i just took that off and plugged the colland lines, my friend told me that the coolant would heat the manifold up or something and that i really didnt need it.... so i took it off
