i'm still using my 96 dash for hte 99 conversion, but there seems to be pretty big gap between the climate console and the dash? do i really need to get a 99 dash for it? also my climate control doesn't work. the hazard and rear fog works. but the climate won't light up, or turn on the ac/heat. or light up. checked fuses and relay, and ground..what else?

The dash itself, yes they are the exact same...
So did you already do the full swap? Sounds like you didn't swap the harnesses and all the dash components such as blower motor and all that. Give us some more detials

everything inside is swap. the blower, harness and ran with 99 si dash harness. it was suppose to be plug and play. the dash is a 96, but it seems like a the climate control won't fit perfectly on the dash. i swap it out with my 99 civic, and the climate control fits fine on my 99 car, but on the 96 dash there's a gap.
