Yeah, and they've tried flipping it on ebay several times, only getting $1000-$1100 each time. Looks like it has forklift damage so the frame should be checked to make sure its still aligned.

For someone who has the time and money and resources, that R could be brought back good as new to make an excellent track car. Its still got life!

I dont understand this "non-rebuildable" title. I would assume it depends on what state you are in. I dont see why you couldnt just rebuild it, and get a "salvaged/rebuilt" title like I have (NY). That would be perfect for someone to swap all their parts over to, such as the case with your friend who crashed his R. albeit, a little expensive so I would definitely try to talk them down and not let them know you had a car to swap all the parts over.

went there and checked out the shell today, guy wont budge from the price says it can only be a parts car.... so i asked him what parts nothing really left on it and he said he bought it for 2000 and wont budge.....didnt look bad bad but the paint on the body was alot lighter then the front end and the bottom where they place the forks luckily didnt gouge anything but there was a dent in the floor under the drivers seat.....if it was 500-1000 dollars i would of thought about buying it for a track car but it is way overpriced for something that cant be titled
