The H4 championship was decided by the 3.5 lap race on saturday in Edik's favor!

I just didn't have enough time to get by.

I did win on sunday though.

NASA SoCal uses a two-race "points drop" where you "get to" toss out your two lowest scoring races. Sam's low races were lower than mine. So heading into this weekend, I was trailing Sam by 15 points after the dropped points. Sam lost 5 points to me after a third place finish (to my second) on Saturday. But I lost an alternator belt on Sunday and DNFed.

Sam was faster all season, won more races and spent much more money. He earned the win.

[LIGHT BULB OVER MY HEAD] Okaaaaaay, now I understand why you were so red-faced and pissed about the shortened race on Saturday. I kinda forgot about the points battle...

I had the pleasure of having my way with your former woman all weekend long at Buttonwillow. While i didn't have anything for Edik, Jeremy or Sam, that's going to be a good car some day. Team Flaherty produced a car that had never ever really run in anger and it ran like a top all weekend (on and off the track might i add). With an LSD and some aero, she probably could have been a winning car. Actually...the splitter probably would have gotten ripped off during my rally experiment on Saturday morning but we'll never know.

All i have to say is that she's got some mojo now baby!

tecce, i heard it was getting built already, but i didnt think it was gonna be on track before 25hr. trust me, i did nothing to it that would have made it track worthy. it had already been stripped, raped, abused, neglected and kicked out the door several times...

i still got my engine and opm lsd in my garage...

 

great season for all HC racers and good luck to those who are going to 25 hour enduro.

The misfire was caused by TPS sensor and Wire harness. TPS reads 58% at full throttle before fixed, and VTEC was never activated since ECU was set to turn on the VTEC at 75% or more TPS signal.

Special thanks to Dararaph at DP Auto of Long Beach and Frank who figured out the TPS problem.
