If you are posting in here, you should be following it. Today was sick. Schumacher winning the final round and setting the record to win the championship was the sickest thing I have ever seen in drag racing.

Agree to disagree

But

That was definately awesome, and PS Bike could of been interesting as well.

I kind of wanted to see Doug win, just because he never has before, but hats of to the Army team. They did everything they had to do, and all the competitors did want they had to do to. Everything was perfect for that team today!!! But I don't agree that it couldn't of happened to a better person and team though

i was pulling for kallita only because im not a schumacher fan but the run he has been on the last of races and putting together the string of passes he did this weekend shows the quality of a champion. allen johnson was practically flawless with the setup and got the job done. so to them. its good to see a championship come down to the last race and the ones that were decided today were real nailbiters!

i second that.

deff a story book ending, i would hate to feel the heartbreak that Doug Kalita felt. when the camera panned to his face at the moment it all went down you had to feel for the guy.

force over capps for how many years? gotta be tough on that guy. I would be grateful inside of Force's mentioning of me at the wally presentation, but i think I'd be bitter

Would have been real interesting if Troxel didn't take out Kalitta. Us Army team stepped up big! You gotta give props to Allen Johnson

What about Hines going red and throwing a 7.03 away and almost lost the championship.

Beckman closed the season out on a high note. 4.66 moving around on the big-end and winning Vegas and going to the finals in Pamona

Can't forget about 400,000 check the champs had waiting!

333mph was insane in qualifying and then 332.x against force in the final.

It was an awesome race. I got really pumped up just watching it!
The only downside for me is that Richie Stevens didn't qualify in PS. (Richie Stevens fan here)

lots of hitters have been missing the field in PS. theres a lot of great teams in that class its so hard just to be in the show much less be competitve. good luck to j hump, scranton and matt hartford. its going to be a crowded class with the current teams and new competitors in 07

Alan Johnson is the man. Wow.

I didn't really care if Tony or Doug won but the fashion he did it in was insane.

Really ironic that in the last year of a traditional points chase 3 of the 4 classes weren't decided until the last race. I remember years where the winner was decided at Indy (i think, i was pretty young then )
