Wheels spinning with tranny in and out of gear! Anyone have this experience?
Please Help.
I bought a B16 transmission off someone here on Honda-Tech for my swap. I examined it before purchasing it, and everything looked good. So I gave the guy $500 bucks and took it home. Heres the problem. I put the new motor and tranny in my car, and after putting the axles in I spun the power wheel. (non LSD tranny) it was spinning really easy, too easy.
I figured it was just in neutral, so I reached my hand behind the tranny and pushed it into a few positions. (shift linkage isnt on yet.) Its still spinning freely, no hesitation at all!
I just wanted to know if anyone culd tell me the problem.
I have another tranny i could swap the guts out of, but i dont wanna have to do it if it's not needed.
Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Yes.
Me and a friend may have it figured out. We believe i may not have alligned the splines right, or did something wrong when i put the tranny on.
Il pull the tranny tomarrow.
