Hey all - wandering if anyone knows if fitting a gen2 rollcage into a gen1 crx is a hard job or not?

I scored a CUSCO safety21 pt cage for an EF CRX and want to bolt it into the gen1.

Are dimentions of the interior identical, similar or way far off in terms of bolting in a 6pt rollcage?

any help would be appreciated.

I have a 1g autopower, and it wont fit my 2g

 

too big/too small?

how will it not fit. Im sorry I could be asking a question thats quiet lame but i know things like that can be modified to an extent.

if for example the gen1 cage is not tall enough to fit into a gen2 chassis then i'll know a gen2 cage will need to be cut to fit into a gen1 - obviously cutting things off is 'easier' than having to add things on.

 

could be modded to fit im sure... the hoop fit
