Axle Problems...

I tore one of the boots on the axle a couple weeks ago and got to changing it today. Bu then i went to drive it the ride was very hoppy and i heard a grinding...any idea what this could be?

How long did you drive with the boot broken for? Something with the bearings inside the shaft, maybe. Did you put new cv greese?

I say he probly didnt grease it.

How would i know if it was the wrong one? I bought it from the autoparts store.
