FUSE KEEPS BLOWING!!!! =[
i jus did a b16 swap in my 96 civic...i put in a new alternator..and for sum reason..the alternator fuse under the dash keeps blowing out...and i keep getting stranded =[... can sum 1 please help me on this!!thanks honda-tech!!
the grounds r good i mean what specific ground is for the altinator? i just did this swap and its a new wirring harrness as well and its not like it blows right away it blows like hmmmm 4 or 7 hrs after driving. i get like 14 in change when its on and then 13.2 when its off, i rev the motor up and i still get 14 in change so i dont know.
Check your new wiring harness. Inspect the sheathing on the wires for any exposed lines. You may have a wire that moves during driving and eventually touches ground. Since you are experiencing alternator issues, verify the following:
1. Correct alternator.
2. Wire integrity.
3. Grounds associated with alternator.
4. Grounds associated with the new harness.
5. Grounds associated with the swap.
