Default type r shifter

I have a 1998 TEG with a b18b1 engine..can I use the ITR shifter with the rods??Any difference in performance?? is it short throw?? tnx

The only thing special about the ITR shifter is that it's not black.

The ones that came with the leather-wrapped **** were black. It appears the part has now switched to the chrome version found on the '00-'01 models, since they're otherwise interchangeable.
