mixing struts...
So, I'm building another cd5. I plan to drop this one on h&r sport springs (1.75&1.5). I bought a pair of kyb agx's for the front and I have a pair of kyb gr-2's for the rear that never got installed on my last accord. I'm confident that the gr-2's are just fine for the drop in the rear. can anyone see any reason why I shouldn't mix the two?
Here's a pic of my last accord for you all (we all love pics right?). It was sitting on eibach sportlines with gr-2s in the front(never had any issues with them) and stocks in the rear.

GR2s are designed to be replacements for the factory struts, they aren't made to handle a car with a drop. You need AGXs (or some other performance strut made to work on a lowered car) all around if you are gonna drop. Putting the GR2s on with a drop (even if you thought it worked before) would be very foolish.

do you have a shock dyno to back up that claim?

I don't mean to thread jack but Iam also in the same dilemma. I have KYB AGX all around on EIBACH PROs. But my car bounces excessively on the highway and uneven roads. So I was thinking of replacing the front AGX with KONI YELLOWS and keep the AGX in the rear. IS this ok ?
