Default coolant leak

i did a search and came up with nothing

BACKGROUND:
i recently just got a d16z6 swapped into my 91 crx hf. Before i got it, it ran well, but it was missing sensors, the radiator didnt work, etc.

now swapped into my car its got a leak, that wasnt there before the swap. I have the same radiator from my own car (not the one from the old car).

Basically its only problem until now was it need a new iacv (eradic idle).

THE PROBLEM AT HAND:
when the car is running it spits/leaks coolant from below/behind the cam gears. mechanic buddy says this :"if the coolant is leaking from the cam gears side of the motor it may be from the head / block mating point... i.e. head gasket, water pump, or the water pipe connected to the water pump. pin point where it's really coming from. spray carb choke cleaner and clean the area out and fill the coolant up and see if you can tell where it is coming from."

Any suggestions from you guys as to what it might be? i havnt driven the car any real distance since discovering this (never really drove it after the swap since its not legal yet). The engine didnt over heat while pissing out the green coolant. reminds me of a bad night drinking when i wake up for my morning wizz

Ask your mechanic friend if he has ever heard of
"A cooling-system pressure tester.."

Pull the timing belt cover off and apply pressure
with the tester so you can pinpoint the exact location of the leak..

It could be just the weep hole it the water pump..

This is why it is a good idea to replace all that stuff
while the engine is out of the car..
